Photovoltaic Installations
The Cooperative has two full-time accredited photovoltaic system installers and can organise and install solar panels onto homes and businesses, including organising all rebates and metering. Please get in touch on 0433622640 if you are interested in installing solar panels on your home or if you can refer someone who is. The Cooperative is also carrying discounted installations to community climate action groups with donations towards the continued running of these and other environmental initiatives.

The Cooperative has also installed a solar system free of charge to the Newcastle Bicycle Ecology Centre in Islington in recognition of achievement of promoting cycling and sustainability in Newcastle.

As with all of our projects, a key aim is to provide training to interested members. Please contact us if you would like to learn to install solar panels.

Bulk Purchase of environmental products
One of the Cooperative's main aims is to reduce the cost of environmental products, including energy efficiency hardware and solar panels, by engaging members in bulk purchasing. Please refer to our range of products and let us know what products you would like to see added.

Free energy audits for low-income households
A limited number of free energy audits are available to low-income households. The aim of this project is to save money for people who need it, to help the environment by saving energy and to train members to conduct energy audits. This project is currently in the construction phase. Please contact us directly if you would like an audit or can refer an eligible household. We would also like to hear from you if you can help by conducting audits and train auditors or if you would like to learn.

Community Training Program
One of the key aims of the Cooperative is to empower members of the broader community to carry out practical energy-related activities to help the environment. For this reason, the Cooperative is offering training opportunities for interested members in the area of photovoltaic installations and energy audits. Members can receive training in energy auditing through the free energy audit project described above. In addition to photovoltaic installations carried out inhouse, we have partnered with the following solar installers who have agreed to provide training to Cooperative members during the course of their work:
